On July 8, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. in room 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building, the Commerce, Trade, and Consumer Protection Subcommittee held a hearing to examine the Administration's proposal to create a new agency responsible for consumer protection with regard to financial products and services.
